Fibonacci Managers is an investment firm dedicated to the digital infrastructure sector. We identify and manage high-value opportunities designed to provide sustainable growth and long-term investor returns. Fibonacci Managers was founded by Emcee Nell, he also co‐founded Capitis Equities Venture Capital Company which had R277 million assets under management as at February 2020.
In 2021, Fibonacci Managers brought to market the first dedicated fibre infrastructure REIT called Gaia Fibonacci Fibre REIT 1 (GFFR), offering investors attractive risk-adjusted returns based on stable cash flows and annual distribution growth in-line with inflation.
Fibonacci Managers actively managed the Gaia Fibonacci Fibre REIT (GFFR) until July 2023. In June 2025, Fibonacci fully exited its position in GFFR.
Having moved from active management to a passive stake in mid-2023, Fibonacci is now focusing on building a collaborative platform based on true partnership.
This move aligns with the Fibonacci’s strategy to develop a platform centered on partnerships with industry leaders rather than maintaining in-house management and control.
Word of advice: If a partner wants to control you, they are not your partner… they are your boss.
